VG10- steel deburring

Raise burr one side, elevate spine on opposite side to approx 2x the working angle and and "brush" off the burr with a bunch of very light leading passes. Lower spine to working angle and grind a burr on that side.

Flip, elevate spine 2x, brush off the burr. Make a few light passes at original angle on both sides. Advance to next stone in progression, microbevel, or strop, or any combination of.

The most important factor in burr removal in my opinion, is to NOT chase it. The attachment point is strongest when it is first formed, use that to your advantage and eliminate as much as possible right off the bat by coming at it from a better angle.
