VG7 steel

Could you compare the VG7 to the CoS in your experience. You said you own both, no?

I do own both, and I wish I could help you more. I honestly never really used the CoS much. I ordered the coated blade, then when I got it I didn't really care for the looks of it. I'm crazy like that. You probable will be happy either way. The F1 is a really great design, it get's so many things right. It's really close to the perfect small do it all knife.

I see that Fallkniven has the NL5 in a laminated VG7 blade. 420J2 steel as cladding. Wonder how it performs compared to a laminated VG10 blade since they make both.
