VG's Mac Mini Update

Ok Ladies, it has been ordered. A Mac Mini, 512 of Ram (oww), and a wired keyboard and mouse. It will ship directly from the Las Vegas store to VG. He should have it in his hands in 2-3 days.
Total cost was $772.03. I will eat the extra cost for the Ram upgrade.

Thank you very much for taking time out to do this. We all appreciate it very much and I am sure VG will more than any of us. I will be sending out a check to you in the next few days. I will be sending you $65 instead of $50. I made a few sales so the extra isn't going to hurt me.
 
I don't know if this has been offered already, but if it has please disregard. If VG hasn't used a Mac before (or OS X) and needs help I'll volunteer for tech support.
 
His last computer was a Mac so I am sure he is very familiar with them. Thanks for the offer. :D

All kidding aside, thanks a lot to Tim. You really stepped up to the plate on this one. Thanks also to everyone that is putting their money where their mouth is.
I'm sorry I couldn't have been of any help with this, but you have to know I would have if I could have.

I just got off the phone with VG, he's gonna be waiting for his package.
He's excited and can't wait for his first post here.

I'll let him thank all of you when he gets online, which doesn't seem like it will be long. :D
 
I'm fine just being a silent contributor and "staying in the background". If you guys need anything else please let me know. I still have that 700MHz Gateway with 384MB of RAM to give away to someone who really needs a computer.

$50 check goes out tomorrow.

The UN delegation visited the Bronx Zoo, and the representative from the Czech Republic fell into the lion pit. When the investigators asked if he was eaten by the lion or the lioness, the representative from Israel said:

Per the earlier thread, I made a direct contribution to VG. You guys are awesome.

It seems I also now have a free computer that needs a home. Anyone in So Cal need one for their kid?

I think I'll post it over at Gadgets & Gear.
