Vic Farmer in a Red Dress..& StayGlow OHT Pics

After prompting from another board member, I thought I would post up a picture of one of my new Vic Red Alox Farmers here in the W&S section as well. This one would be a little easier to find if you dropped it in the woods.

I also thought I might as well put up a picture of my stayglow scaled OHT with plain edge blade and corkscrew instead of phillips. This was a special run that swissbianco had Victorinox do and it is VERY NICE!! After being outside in the light this thing glows so brightly you can actually read by the light it throws off.

yeah it's a plain edge!

How did you get those? I love the red handles on the farmer. Just got my farmer today in the mail though. love it already!

I didn't just get StayGlow scales for the OHT. If you will notice, the knife also has a plain edge blade, as well as a corkscrew instead of phillips. These were a special run that were comminsioned by Roger Remund(swissbianco) from Victorinox. I am very proud of it!
 
I love that vic farmer. Are they still available at that special price?

I love my OHT but i hate the philips and would love a corkscrew instead. The stayglow scales would be cool too.
A OHT like yours plus scissors would be my dream Trekker!
The farmers a beaut as well!

Sadly you are out of luck, as am I. We have to wait until the next limited run is made, and that will likely be some time yet. Of course you could always modify some knives yourself (I'm considering using the scales and OH blade from the Vic Rescue Tool with the other blades from a Vic Hunter, of course that is a very expensive knife to build).

A much cheaper conversion is taking the scales from a Stay Glow Climber and putting them on a Huntsman (91mm instead of 111mm and not OH open or locking).

first i try to post on this forum too but my time is limited and i got the flu here in swiss, its getting cold again.

currently theres an nice article whritten about the +B oht pe sg (swissbianco one hand trekker plainedge stayglow) in tactical knives magazines.

if you are interested to see more spl unique sak, then my forums on messerforum.net and knifeforums.com is the way to go. say that oht mentioned, the alox oht pe, the new splash farmer, yeoman-mechanic or 91mm lumberjack plus, the coming damascus sak to name only an few exclusives :-)

work on the next spl run of that oht pe sg, plus in 2008 there will be another surprise on the oht frame, sompthing that you will like!

This PE SG OHT originally came from felinevet. I can't wait for all the splash Alox knives and damascus stuff to come out. You have free authorization on my credit card my good man...You know I want at least one or two of everything you produce!

I have a question: why not make such a ridiculously perfect woods SAK a special run? Can't be produced normally?

I new the folks over here would like that one. I had no idea they came in red until I saw that post. I don't normally frequent that part of the forum. Glad I did:thumbup::D

I just popped over to knifeforums, that alox OHT looks sweet! I definitely want 2 or three of those when they come out!

i now you buy it from tim but im guessing who needs the money that bad to sell it. theres only an handful in usa.

for the green envy men: www.messerforum.net/showpost.php?p=387153&postcount=20 or www.messerforum.net/showpost.php?p=390752&postcount=45 enjoy. you see im used to the native us food and travel back to swiss allways thinner.

the farmer where made in red and natural silver color but now, usually only the silver color is avaliable. there where some spl runds in blue, black, gold (with an marlin spike added) and now the up to 4 color splash.
