I hope this is the right place to ask this. It seems like the best fit since there isnt a SAK forum...

Will a Vic Farmer fit inside an "Altoids" sized tin?

Hopefully someone who owns one can check real quick and then this post can fade quickly into the mists.

It would depend on how many Altoids are left in the box. ;)

I am almost positive it will. I remember seeing someone with one in their tin pressed against the back a week or so ago, but I can't remember where I saw it. Either way, I love my Farmer.

EDIT, Nevermind there is a picture above LOL

If the issue is putting together an "Altoids Tin" pocket survival tool, and as much as I love the camper style of knife as it is, by far my favorite of all slipjoint patterns, Ive found that on my backpacking, climbing, ski and bike tourin trips that having a tool that has both pliers and folding sciccors to be infinitely more useful. I carry a leatherman PS4 in my 1st aid kit.

EDC knife of choice goes in my RFP - Vic Farmer is a reasonable choice for that, but thats personal.
