vic paring knife for outdoor use

anyone tried these??

Yup. They are used by commercial fisherman who buy them by the box. They are dirt cheap ($3.75), light (3/4oz) and great for food prep, cutting line and other light chores. I put one in my PSK's when they have enough length. Vic makes a sheath for them too-- costs about twice what the knife does. You won't be cutting firewood with one, but they will make a fuzz stick in a hurry. Think of them as a poor man's version of an AG Russell Woods Walker.

Got one for my wife the other day & she sliced a nice piece of her thumb  Man is that little booger sharp !:D

This is a kydex rig Eric made for me. Shown here with optional belt attachment its main purpose is to be a neck knife while wade fishing.

It doesn't look bad at all... has to slice nicely. And that kidex sheat looks even better.
