Vic Soldier triumphs again!

You don't have to explain why you bought it to us. :)

I think you'll find these alox 93mm knives are a breed of their own and quite different from the typical SAK. The walk and talk is fantastic. Give us your impression of the Pioneer when you get it.

Well said! The Alox 93mm series IS a "breed of it's own". Very well made. No other SAKs compare. The other Alox SAKs use the same tools as their cellidor scaled counterparts. The 93s use much heavier blades and tools.

Ya know, the pioneer/soldier is such a great piece of hardware, somebody could edc it as their only pocket knife and do quite well with it.

I love the Alox line of SAKs. My favorite is the Cadet. Smaller, even more pocketable, but just as tough and hard working. It has replaced all my other knives, as it packs so much functionality in such a thin, low profile package.

Can't argue with that!

Now if someone at Victorinox would just put a soldier type awl on the cadet I could be very happy with that!!!:D

Guys, I will for sure let you know how I love my new Pioneer and to be honest this may sound kind of weird but my SAKs are my most loved knives in my collection. I always welcome a new SAK baby in my little family. They are like my best friends, kind of weird huh? I am addicted to my Multi tools but especially my SAKs.
