With the exception of my smokey the bear themed knives, I buy all my victorinox from the same guy. Fairly local and runs a good online biz. Just buy there out of loyalty... in fact, I didn't even pay full price this year, because I used about 25 bucks in "reward" points.I looked this am and had zero problems finding them in stock.

Well let me know if you see an extra Lucerne blue kicking around or a couple of the army green ones... went from being readily available to completely drying up and disappearing. I haven't seen one I. A year or two. Sometimes you see the classics...The 2017 is the only one I'm missing myself. Sadly, I'm going to have to get this year's, though I'm not jazzed about it. I'm hoping it comes off as more of a bronze in person. Guess we'll see.
Custom shop would be cool.No hype from me. I'm pretty disgusted with Victorinox for putting effort into all these stupid limited release alox knives in many colors in the same old designs. Same for all the variations of the Classic.
IMHO, they should be:
- Making a custom shop option, where we pick our own tools (within limits)
- Use harder blade steel and be ready to decline warranty claims when people snap a blade from prying with it. (there's NO excuse for that with a SAK that has prying tools already built in!)
- Designing new implements
