Victorinox alox handle or locking blades, which do you prefer?

Thanks for posting those links! I never knew you could get all those patterns in the Alox scales!

Some really nice ones there...

I definately prefer the Alox to the plastic, locks or not. My current SAK soldier is usually a back-up detail knife for a larger style locking folder anyway. Frankly, 90% of what I use a knife for doesn't require a lock.

Thanks, guys. Close but no cigar. :( Basically, I'd love a standard Soldier-type knife, but with a small blade replacing the awl. No worries. I'm pretty damn happy with my 84mm cellidor Spartan.
