Yeah, you're right about the can-opener/phillips. I've only opened a few cans with it, but I've turned a heck of a lot of screws with it.
That small screwdriver tip is really something I miss when I carry one of my Wenger SAKs (as they have the sharp "beak" can-opener. It is useful for scoring and scratching/scraping, but not for screws).
 
I've turned a few phillips heads with the can opener.:) The corner of the large screwdriver works on bigger phillips too.

Most of the little screwdrivers on my SAKs are tweaked from using them on phillips heads. That blade is also a good staple remover.
