I really am surprised Victorinox doesn’t offer every model in more color options other than red?
I was fortunate to get a Climber my most pocket carried SAK with white scales. Are there more colors available and i just don’t know where to look?
I was able to get a replacement Swiss Champion for my retired traditional red scaled SAK in the blue translucent version and love it.
Is it they release limited alternative colors that just sell out fast or are red just so iconic that the other colors just don't sell?
What colors would you like to see?
I like black, white , blue, yellow, orange and green.
If they at least offered them at the start of the year in limited quantities i would know when to buy them before they sell out.
I guess i could buy after market scales but really don’t like the idea of moding perfectly serviceable knives.
I did order colored tooth picks and tweezers so there is that option. Bahahahahahaha!

Don't forget the two camo colors!
The Huntsman is available in several colors on the "big river"/"big jungle" site, including a navy/city blue and "wo0dland green", as well as a couple of the transluscent's and the solid colours you mentioned, plus the iconic red.
I think only some of the solid colours are available with "PLUS" scales with the ink pen.

The big auction site has new and "new take-off" 93mm O.E.M. scales in all the standard factory colors except camo, both regular and "PLUS". Scales with color coordinated side tools and fob/zipper pulls are an option with several sellers.

Both of these sites also have brass, copper, Ti, and Carbon Fiber replacement scales for the 93 mm Cellidor SAK's. However, most of the metal scales, and all the CF scales (that I looked at) force you to give up the side tools. ☹️👎
The Big Auction site also has 3D printed scales in different colours from a few sellers. Some of these have a seperate cross in a choice of different colours.

The scales are easy enough to change. I bought a inexpensive clamp-on 4" swivel mini vise from the Big River site to press the scales on my Huntsman, when I upgraded it to red PLUS scales. I also bought a red toothpick, tweezer, red fob, and a gray pen refill (other colours not made) from that big knife store in TN. (better prices than the other 2 sites.)

You can get different scales directly from them with their "personalize" option. I picked up a white and green explorer recently. Once you find the model you want, you need to click on the Personalize option right next to the Add to Cart.

S SAKsRCool their site? You mean the Victorinox official site. I saw that personalize button but thought that was for engraving. Thanks for the info.

Found it thanks. Ordered this camper to get the free shipping since my toothpick and tweezer order fell a little short lol. Wish i knew about this option before but will definitely take advantage next time.

Last time I tried using the customize/personalize option on the Victorinox site, every scale color I would select would say out of stock (maybe just a glitch at the time). So I decided to just buy scales on eBay. Unfortunately they take a long time to ship. I've got some that have been sitting up in New York for two weeks now and have yet to move....hopefully they aren't lost. And the eBay prices are not great for less common colors.

So yeah, I wish Victorinox would offer more customization options. They seem to be a fairly traditional company in a lot of ways, though, and are slow to enact change. I guess in some ways that's a good thing and probably better than polarizing alternatives.
