Nothing but good can come of this. Since all you have to do to convert a Pioneer is to Dremel off the keychain ring nib, the Soldier will soldier on with users. OTOH, the discontinuance of factory issue Soldiers will make those already in hand more collectible, potentially a great source of merriment among knifeknuts who go in for that sort of thing.

Bring it on, I say!

the new soldier can have the handle swapped with other similar series, so you'll get it red too ..
