I think I've found the right SAK for me. But one key piece of data is missing: the weight. Does anyone know how much the Victorinox Tradesman weighs. Also, does anyone know why its so impossible to find this information on the web?
Thanks.

For some reason Vic doesn't list weights for their tools. You will have to find someone that has one and can weight it. My guess is 6 - 7 ozs. Perhaps you can extrapolate, by my scale, the Ranger is 4.2oz, SwissChamp 6.7oz and One Hand Trekker with pocket clip 4.7oz.

This website says 0.40 pounds: http://www.mammothshop.com/tradesman-knife-p-3043.html
That would make if 6.4 oz., but looking at other sites, this number is roughly the shipping weight others sites quote.
Smartknives.com says the Vic Atlas is 5.25 oz (http://www.smartknives.com/Victorinox-Knives/Victorinox-Atlas.htm), and the tradesman adds a metal saw to it. We can infer that it's about 6 ounces, maybe?

Wow, this model has a great lineup of functions :)

Nice work on the inference.
