Say Heah Guy, Is everybody still sleepy after over eating too much turkey, good. I use my Awl alot in the bush. You know, Murphy ' s Law, repairing things, Yeah, I use mine alot, so natch, my B.O.A. pocket knife/awl sort of seen it's day, I usually take good care of my gear, but I managed to chew the Awl pretty good. I thought I would replace it with a brand new Gerber 600 still in the blister pack I got at the pawn shop at a very good price, But it's just a little too bulky for me. Oh, don't get me wrong I'm still going to use it. I saw a some good video's on the Wenger 78, By the time I was ready to pull the trigger they were hard to find, But I got a catalog from S.M.K.W. and look and behold Victorinox had a Delemont Collection Range Grip even better than I wanted in the Wenger 78, I didn't think I wanted a corkscrew on mine, But the more I thought about it, the Corkscrew would be nice to un-do knots, anyhow I got the Victorinox Delemont 78 with a the Awl and phillips, But I can't find any info on the steel they use, The problem with all my S A K ' s it seems I get slight twisted tips on mine, I guess it's better than the tips snapping off, But doesn't that mean the steel is too soft to hold a edge, I really would like to know what steel my new Victorinox Delemont Collection Ranger Grip 78 is made with, any info would be gravely appriciated, Thanx in advance, Oh, for making traps, I use a Folding Jab Saw with wood blades and they seem to work great, and easy to carry, But the saw in my Vic, is a good size, anyhow, if anyone know what steel is used, that would be awesone, , ,
