I wish that most all Victorinox SAKs had pocket clips!!! That would make a perfect EDC. Especially the Rucksack and OHT and swiss champ plus Farmers. I hope they hear me. Hint hint.

There are few, but they're 111mm series knives. However there are custom scales for Vic's that offer various colors and pocket clips.

I was always hoping for a Compact in alox. I don't see why they don't make more knives in alox...

Me, I always wanted a better steel at a higher hardness for the blades.

To much sharpening practice when I use my Victs.

I agree! Alox is tough stuff & my EDC Soldier is very tough for chores.

Wish #1 - Alox Huntsman

Wish #2 - Swisstool Spirit X. Yeah, I know that it's available - I just wish I had one!

As for clip issues, check out Munroe Designs they make a clip with a gate lock that you can hook onto SAKs like the Farmer & Lumberjack.

I wish I could justify buying the Sterling and Ingot models! I want them badly...but so pricey.

If they could figure out some way to fit tweezers and the toothpick into the Alox models I’d be a happy man.

A couple of my wishlist:

-Bring back the Scientist (main blade/combo tool, magnifying glass/in-line phillips, and corkscrew). They could add an awl on the back, correct? I don't think the original had one
-More 84mm models with scissors. Or any at all, for that matter
-An aspect of the Wenger models that I have never liked is the nail file. I like the option of large blade/small blade, and would love to see more options like this on Wenger's 85mm line.
-In-line awls on cellidor models. I love the awl on the Farmer.
-Bails (like on Wenger's Standard Issue) on everything else!

An alox model with scissors and tweezers -- Leatherman Micra style ones would be fine.

Here's a Scibeer custom with scissors, no tweezers though. A climber modified with alox scales.

I've never understood why a clip is important. I think a lanyard is more important on a knife than a clip. When I pocket carry my knife, I leave the lanyard hanging out of my pocket so that with a pull on the lanyard, I've deployed the knife. I also like a lanyard that I can slip my wrist through to secure the knife to my body. I use lanyards on all my SAKs that I carry. Pocket clips just bulky and get in the way.

Another thing that I hate on SAKs is a corkscrew. That's why instead of a Huntsman, I buy a Fieldmaster. They are the same knife except that a Fieldmaster has a phillips screwdriver instead of a corkscrew. I also like the Hiker instead of the Camper for the same reason.

I don't understand the corkscrew either. Are there that many folks that need to open a bottle with a cork? Does it have some other usage? I almost don't get the bottle opener use anymore either, except for beer, I guess.

I think in europe they use a cork screw more often because there are a lot of wine drinkers over there. But, here not quite so many. Besides, don't most americans buy their wine in a box. :)

Also many Europeans buy their wines in boxes. The more expensive wines are still sold in bottles, but the cheap wines that you drink with a normal every day meal, are more and more sold in boxes.

Less can openers. Seriously, how often do you have cans and no can opener? It seems like every model that is beg enough to have a can opener has one.
