This 50 min tape contains advanced knife work for FMA stylists and can be broken into 7 sections.

Palasut (Knife Disarm/strip for Disarm/strip) 2 sections
In the Grasp (Applications) 2 sections
Numerado (hands vs knife drill)
Buaya (Crocodile Mouth, hands vs knife techniques)
Groundfighting against the knife

The first Palasut section concerns a knife flow/disarm drill and ends in 4 variations. Each sequence is demonstrated at slow and full speeds and explained.

In The Grasp is next. This time you've grabbed your opponents blade and he has grabbed yours, now it's time to pull out a fight ending technique/escape. 9 techniques are shown.

The second Palasut section is next, focusing on opposing grips. Balicki feels this is important as that most knife drills have partners in the same grip. 2 variations are shown here.

Numerado is a hands vs knife drill working on angling and disarms. 2 techniques are shown.

The second In the Grasp section is empty hands self defense vs. knife threats.
Variation 1 Knife against kidney
Vartion 2 Knife against front ribs
Variation 3 Knife against throat from behind
Variation 4 Knife against throat front Variation 5 Knife against throat front Palm down
Variation 6 Knife against groin (!)against a wall

Buaya (Crocodile Mouth) is another hands vs knife drill. 5 techniques all using disarms and ending into strikes or locks are shown.

Grappling vs. the Knife concerns when the defender is knocked to the ground on their back and the attacker is still coming. The guard position from Brazilian Jujitsu is borrowed but used as a barrier.
Seven techniques are shown mainly against an ice pick attack, the last being a forehand slash.

Three more techniques are shown, the attacker being on the side and on one knee to the defender. Similar to the knee on stomach position in BJJ. This section concludes the tape.

This is a solid tape for intermediate to advanced people. Metal trainers are a must as knife strips are commonly used here. The only weaknesses were the second In the Grasp section and the Grappling against the Knife. Sound quality suffered as they were filmed in the boxing area of the Inosanto Academy.

I liked the In the Grasp and Grappling sections, however all drills require some understanding of disarms, which is an interesting concept to play with in training. The empty hand against knife techniques looked actually doable (In the Grasp 2) and is IMHO the most easy to understand section of the tape.

The locks in the Palasut and Grappling segments are from Silat and BJJ. The last section was pretty interesting and hopefully someone like Root could comment on it.
