Here is a short, 6 minute video of the EF-48 Horizontal belt grinder. It is supposed to answer most of the common questions while showing various aspects of the machine...including it's set-up.

Plus, I thought it was pretty cool, whattaya think?

The video is also posted on YouTube:

I posted this over on KN...sorry for the duplicate message for those that saw it there.

That is nice.
Also, you sure are fast at setting up that controller. It took me about a month of staring at it to make mine work.

Rob that is a very interesting grinder. What specific types of work would it be best for? I can see ALOT of useful things it can do, maybe I will fab up a swing arm mount for my KMG and a sidways tool rest :D.

I would love to have that, sweet...
I wonder what is the price for this...

BIG BUCKS!! About $950-$1400 depending on speed control. Sure is an awesome tool. Hopefully in some lifetime!

Hi Sam, that's a tough question to answer. The machine's uses are only limited by your imagination I guess. For me, I use it for anything that requires the edges to be square perpendicular to the sides. ...and/or when I want the grind/polish grain to run lengthwise ....such as on the spine of a knife.

Thanks for the question...and sorry that I don't have a better answer for you.
