Video Editing Starts Next Wednesday: Sponsors?

I'm going to be posting this topic elsewhere, but I thought I'd see if anybody could suggest sponsors for the video. I think it'll be such a hot seller that putting "sponsors" (a limited number) on credit pages on the front and back end would allow me to keep the price of the video low. Any suggestions?

Craig, I know this is a rather off-beat idea, but what about contacting officials associated with Nepali tourism? What about contacting Nepal's U.S. embassy? Most countries spend a great deal of money promoting themselves. They could even be given some time for a "lead-in."

Steven: Great idea. The first thing I'll be doing in order to "learn" the editing process is producing a trailer. I may distribute it to some potential sponsors. It'll also be available on our website to play on the internet (if I can figure out how to do that).

Craig,

Another thought. You may have some luck with some of the airlines that service Nepal. Many of them have short (15-20 min) "Discovery"/"National Geographic" type spots that they show during their inbound flights to certain destinations. They usually include points of interest in the country and arts/crafts that are specific to that destination. You'd probably have to edit it down into an abbreviated version, but I suspect it would be extremely interesting to even non-knife people.

Excellent idea! I think that this project will grow like ivy over the course of the next year. Good thing is that my footage is digital, so I don't lose any picture quality fooling around with it.
