VIDEO: FFBM cutting Phone Book paper.

Nice! I need to spend more time with my Edge Pro. What grit did you finish with on that one?

I went all the way up to the 6000 grit Polishing tape.

Started with 120 grit to reprofile the edge, then 220, 320, 600, 1000, 2000 Tape and then finished with the 6000 grit tape.

Is that even possible? (Eeeek)

Never tried this. Thanks for the new goal but again I wonder how this level of sharpness is even attained??? (Confused smiley)

I can turn free hanging hair into fuzzies now, it's possible. That's on a belt sander though, then hand stropped with green compound, then pink compound.

I would need a magnifying glass to see that, sucks to be getting old. :D

You got that right, The older you get the worse it gets. Where do they get the golden years. :thumbdn: My eyes started going around 45, get out the reading specs i guess.

Just watched your video again Ankerson, thats freaky sharp almost scary!!

Thanks man. :D

Know you know why I was keeping my hand away from the blade. :D

Don't ever let anyone tell you that Busses don't cut or can't take an edge because they can. :)

Not bad for a 31 ounce knife with a 10" blade that's 5/16" thick.

You got that right, I was thinking the same thing. That's a big heavy knife doing that, cutting that phone book paper effortlessly. Just awesome what more can be said.

Thanks a lot. :)

I try and tell people that a blade doesn't have to be thin to cut, it just has to be sharp and it doesn't have to have a 10 degree edge on it either.

I put a 40 degree edge on that blade.
