I am glad to know that I am the manliest man I could be
Thanks for the vid, I am actually looking for a hammock.
Sweet hammock vid.
I have an ENO also! I made my own UQ/TQ from primaloft. Utilized my bad ass manly sewing machine skills! Tarps are really easy to make if you grab yourself some sil nylon.
I like your idea there with its simplicity along with a nice cozy factor!
Enjoy your hammock and your becker!
Still need to get myself a BK9! Have to hold off other knife purchases to save up! Haha.
I wish I had a sewing machine...lots of stuff I would do. I got by with that fabric glue and some reinforcement stitches with heavy polyester thread. I recently got the Guide Gear 12X12 nylon tarp from Sportsmans Guide...for $19.00 it is unbeatable.
Nice vid, thanks for sharing. I saw some "complaints" about the Guide Gear tarp. Not the quality, but the size. They said the advertised size was diagonally, not across. Is this true? Wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, just wondering.I just got the Guide Gear tarp...The new Sportsmans Guide catalog just came out last week.

Sweet. Enjoy it!
A cheap bug solution can be found at your local fabric shop, tulle. It won't keep out the no-see-ums but it's extra light and readily available. Think of the concept as making a giant stuff sack that you put yourself in your hammock in to keep the bugs out!
Dude, it is so weird to hear your voice hahahaha. Cool vid though.
BTW, what kinda scales you got on your 9? You put the grivory ones back on?

I haven't measured it, but it says "12x12"....never heard of anyone measuring a tarp that way diagonally.
