I just recently took delivery of the Model 9L and with a heavy heart I have decided this terrific flipper must go. The 9L is impeccable in both its design and function, and in Mint condition.
The fit and finish is superb and the flipper action with the IKBS is as good as any flipper I've held. The blade flies out without having to deal with a detent that is too tight; you can flip it right side up, upside down, sideways, lefty..........you get my drift.
Les Voorhies Model 9L: 4 1/4", hand satin finished S35VN....(This very limited run steel features a particularly small crystal structure caused by the inclusion of Niobium as a grain refiner)...... 3/16" thick, Closed length: 5 3/8"........OAL: 9 1/2".......
The scales are broad weave carbon fiber.......Orange Peel Ti bolsters; both the bolsters and scales are overlays on the Ti frame....This is technically a liner lock but the liners are thick and sturdy, and the lock up is soooo solid......Stainless steel pocket clip.
