VIDEO: My Saftey Video, using Lanyards

Yeah I kinda figured you were using something like that. No worries.

Nice work either way, cheers m8

The Camera was only 4 feet away from me on this Video. :)

I can hear it very clear, I always play them before I upload then to YT, also do a few test runs to make sure I can be heard on the newer videos. :)

I had to turn my volume down on my computer for this one and the past few. LOL :D

I was able to hear everything with my speakers on normal, just thought there might be an option fore the mic adjustment.

Cool. :D

I really wish I did have that option, but it's a DSLR 1st so I guess Nikon wasn't too worried about the speaker options.

I am willing to take a donation for a good HD Video Camera if any of the more wealthy people want to spare one. :D

I don't have a spare $3000 to get one, that's what it would take to get better volume and shoot the same quality. The cheaper Video cameras have crappy lenses, even the HD ones. LOL :)

The setup I use costs $1500 as it sits now, $1000 for the Camera Body and around $450 for the lens I use to shoot my videos.

I take a lot more photos than I shoot video as it's my hobby these days, used to be Pro Am in the Film Days, but not anymore. :)

Thanks Jim, and you know i've got a pretty good scar from my Bwmle on my shin. No lanyard on that one at the time. I've got some d-guards i braided out of different widths of para cord on some of my choppers. I don't believe they'll work as good as a lanyard though. So i will be adding a lanyard to my choppers to be safer in the near future.;)

Thanks for that, Ankerson, gonna head to the shed and make one for BWM now. Just gotta say tho, that looks like a beautiful area to live in... Congratulations on the amazing backdrop for the video :)

I live in one of the older parts Of Raleigh, it's more rural. :)

Great video and explanation of the the different configurations of lanyards. I have always fixed my lanyards on the rear talon hole. Now I gotta move it the front one and try it out.

Thanks.

 +1
