As we all know you love the NMFBM and I was thinking if you're going to be feeding it 2x4'' then you should check out an old thread on here.

It's got the Crowell Barker knife and I think that knife goes through it in 5-6 chops. I then seem to remember one of the hogs did the same thing with either a CG FBM or FFBM. I'd like to see what the NMFBM does it in.

I don't have a table with a vise setup, chopping kneeling is not easy. ;)

Hold it with your left hand and chop with your right hand:)

Nice video as usual:thumbup:

I really need to figure out something because I know I can get more power into it if I was standing up like chopping a tree ect. :)

Definitely, and you will be able to chop in from both angles, not just away from yourself. Then I bet you can do it in just a few chops. :)

Just watched this. He knows how to chop. That is what I mean by hold the 2x4 with one hand and chop with the other.

Huh, it works for me.

Basically the guy is talking about having to chop things at an angle. Then at the end he chops a 2x4...three chops from one side and three from the other. He just holds the 2x4 up and chops in at an angle. All with a knife that looks much smaller than a NMFBM to me. :)

Then again it is a competition blade but his technique is what I am talking about.

Need to find a safe way to hold it down. ;)

Still can't see it....

It is a Browning knife. Maybe give it a search?

You don't need to hold it down, just chop it in half:D:D
