Video request Thread

Hey guys, I can take two of these on, the tracking I can get to, but it wont be for a bit, if you can find one in the mean time, go for it. Give me a couple weeks for that one.

As for PCJB, anf fire straws, I can get them done in the next few days, depending on what the lady gets me for Xmas I may be out in the shed for a few days anyways.

Is there a chance we can get this stickyed?
 
I can think of a few I'd like to see, if anyone wants to bother:

Various knife grips useful in bushcraft, with demonstrations of typical tasks employing each (I pretty much use only the saber and chest lever grip...I want to know if I'm missing out on anything). Maybe also touch on carving towards and carving away.

How to use a crooked knife / spoon knife

How to select and make a dedicated walking stick, from harvest to finish

Guyot mod - adding a handle

How to make an improvised water filter out in the woods

That was a very good video, but I am not going to add it as that is not Quiet Mike. He didn't realize we only wanted members videos for this thread.

I just got a phone with a video camera over X-mas.

If the quality is good, I'll put up a video to add on technique, tips, and troubleshooting for hand drill.:thumbup:

Great job BM5, your vids are added. Please consider doing the walking stick vid request as well. I have seen your walking sticks and they re very nice!
 
I just re-read through the requests. I can do a few of versions of "in-the-field" improvised water filtration methods. Would take more than one video to do them but I could probably get started on them this weekend If no-one else has already started on that.

That'd be awesome, Mist :thumbup: I look forward to it. :) I've been pretty busy as of late and haven't had much time for BF, so please don't think me ungrateful if I don't view and respond right away.
