Made this video review of my customized Benchmade Griptilian. Its a great knife and their customization program is great

I just actually looked at the customization page for the first time , pretty innovative I must say.


Not to mention.... tempting !! :D

That's actually the first go at it. Sort of a beta almost. I've talked to Ryan McGinnis, the guy running the customization program (great guy to deal with btw) and he said that the UI for that version admittedly has some limitations but that they wanted to get something up. They've had a huge response and are working on getting a much better website up for doing the customizations.
 
I wonder if they will eventually offer different knives and materials in their customization process

I'd like to think I heard that somewhere, although I might entirely be making the whole thing up in my head with wishful thinking. Perhaps if it continues to go as well as it is with the Grips they'll branch out to other knives. Ryan says they are selling a lot of knives via the program. Hence the 3-4 week wait time.
