My 12" FB machete is my all time favorite machete. I love the thicker spine and i love how it handles. As you can see in the video it bites deep and chops really really well.
Good tabletop. I have noticed that knife is available at machetespecialists.com. Here is the video you were talking about:

I believe it might have been your video that made me decide to buy one, When I saw how deeply it sunk into the wood, I was sold.
In the past, I never even considered buying one.
My Bushfinger should be here tomorrow.
I hear ya. After moving north of the sub-tropics I had developed a severe dislike for most machetes out there. Seemed they all had too much flex to suit my needs here and none of them had a point. I had always liked the Barong shape, but didn't like any of the handles on ones I had used. The 12" FB gave me a whole new perspective on machetes.
That 12" and a Bushfinger will make an awesome woods team, just add a small folder or SAK and you'll have a heck of a trio.

Just out of curiosity what is the weight of that machete? I figure it probably weighs less than your typical 1/4" big knife. I do like the way it bites into the wood based on the video you did.
