Available through Unique Publications, this 57 min tape by the late Ted Lucaylucay
covers empty hand fighting as related to weapons, a theory some feel is debateable while others feel is a core idea.
Here's the BD
Intro
Boxing Basics (stance, position)
Offense (punches and drills)
Defense (parries/scoops/covers/blocks, cuffing)
Bobbing/Weaving/Ducking
Shadowboxing
Knife Section (7 drills relating the knife to the boxing drills)
Experienced boxers won't get much but newbies and intermediate folks will.
The majority of the tape is devoted to Western boxing and has some details you don't see in books.
After 45 min, we get into using the knife into boxing drills, my favorite part. It did get
a little boring up till that point but that's can happen each time details are thrown in or there aren't any breaks.
This tape had a lot of details given with no slow motion multiple replay torture.
Goes well with other Lucaylucay tapes and the Drawpoint series from Comtech IMO.
This is more of a beginning tape/reference, so there's more on subtlety than flash and dozens of moves. Standard Unique Publicatons production quality, so it's all decent.
