Ok, so you sem to have the advantage on me as I dont know who you are.

But being a "Yankee" is the best part of being from the 'north' as that is where the Yankees are from [ and so was I = Bronx NYC ].

And until the South leads the way and gets it done right ,we will be happy to be "Yankees".
 
Scaaty, I'm Randy, I camped just below AIG in the blue tent at PWYP. I think I showed you the two survival knives I made.

Great videos AIG! It looks like a good time was had by all. Seems like you got some cooking skills and that you were a good Sou chef that weekend. I would love to get a chance to cook side by side with Mr. Becker and talk about "kitchen confidetials". I had no idea that Mr. Becker was a classically trained chef(I am a trained chef as well) and that he is linked to "The Joy of Cooking" cookbook. I hope one day to join in the festivities.:thumbup:

He is a Cordon Bleu. I have no training but I can follow directions. :) The potato recipe I actually learned from a Beckerhead at the fall gathering. Shout out to him, we eat this all the time.

Yeah the Cordon Bleu school he attended in France is no joke. All you need to do is have good hearing and can follow directions and you will avoid the wrath of the executive chef. I know I've had my ear singed many a time by the executive chef. Lol. Yeah I would love to talk shop with Mr. Becker. Where is the fall gathering at?
 
Ok, watching Nowka, SF Sam, and Dave try to move that water barrel, was just about the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

Looking at the structure they built to hold the barrel I knew it was destined for a colossal failure. So of course I got the camera and started filming.
