EDIT: New extra video slicing tomato on the comment section below

Hey blade forums!

As of the start of the week, listing this beautiful workhorse that will definitely become someones favorite as an all-around beast.

As most of my damascus, it features the original forge finish in the flats as it was forged to shape (including bevels). Has a 230mm (9 inches) blade made out of 1084 + 15n20 which is my favorite alloy for damascus as it is incredible tough. Hardened to 60HRC and ground to almost a zero grind.

The blade will slice food like a laser as per the video below shows it.

Its handle is where i put the gold in: It has both exotic spacers of a stabilized and fossilized blue coral AND a certified 1300 years old stabilized bog oak.
The 1300 years old bog oak is certified and whoever owns this knife will receive the radiocarbon dating via email.

The blue coral is obviously an extremely special material and almost not found into kitchen knives handles. You will likely find it as inserts in very high end custom folders. This was once a living creature a few hundred years ago, so not only about its aesthetics, i really love this material.

The handle has multiple layers of thin micarta for keeping all the inserts and materials stable under all climates and weather conditions. As micarta is quite tough and doesnt retain moisture at all, it is the perfect "core" for such build.

As my favorite damascus pattern, you can see how beautiful the pattern is in the spine and choil. It has a very strong personality and i consider that to be the unique "fingerprint" of the blade

This is a workhorse knife so it is not a laser. This knife is heavier than most of the knives i do, has a rigid and very solid spine meant for daily and heavy use. This being said, the grind is really aggressive and can be considered zero.

By being a zero grind, it will be sharpened REALLY fast and easy, like less than a minute on a 1000~2000 stone for the first months and it will be good to go again to a shaving razor sharp.

Also, it will cut and slice food with much less pressure too, giving you the feeling of the blade gliding on it.

This knife will be delivered in this nice, luxury zipped pouch. Both for aesthetics and also for safe transport, or the perfect gift to impress someone.

+100$ and you will be getting also a 140mm raptor out of Sanvik 14c28n (same as AEBL) that you can see more details in my previous posts. The raptor will be shipped on a individual zipped pouch for it.

This knife is a beast (both) and im confident it will impress and give you a good experience. As all my knives, it has both spine and choil perfectly rounded.

Even if you dont like japanese handles, im sure you will enjoy it due the balance i put in this blade perfectly set near the choil area, giving you the good feeling of the knife being a natural part of your arm.

Thanks everyone!

Tomato test - for laser, thin knives this is quite easy but for such workhorse with a thicker spine, it says a lot about its very aggressive grind. This blade will do a lot of work daily and still get food sliced with very little pressure.
