Viele in VG-10?

Hi all,

I know I must be getting old, as I've had the new Y2K catalog for two days now and I just noticed that the Viele is listed as having a VG-10 blade.

Now all the ones I see listed on internet sales sites, including Sypderco.com, show it as having a AUS-8 blade. So is this a typo, or an upcoming change?

Carlos - The Viele is being re-tooled to accept our "eccentric pivot" and "Offset Arc" ramp. This will make the Viele a better knife overall. While we were making the change, we decided to change the steel to VG-10. It will still be a couple of months before they begin shipping. We just printed the new PDR (Product Description Referral) which is our ELU catalog. So it has the latest info.
