how do you date a post ww2. camillus mk2 knife? what is the difference between knives blade marked us/camillus and ones blade marked us/camillus ny. ? some are black and some are very dark brown.any help? thanks

I don't understand what you're asking, Nakano and Raptor ... as you can see those were collect-mk2's first posts at Bladeforums, presumably why he posted in the wrong forum and then had difficulty replying here to thank Tombstone ... but he found his way to Bernard Levine's forum a few minutes later and soon got the information he was looking for ... I didn't move the thread because by the time I saw it Tombstone had already directed him to the right forum (good work, Tombstone, and only four minutes after collect-mk2 posted) ... and I didn't lock or delete this thread because I assumed it would soon slip off the front page for lack of posts.
