While we anxiously wait, could we get a listing of the vital statistics for the new 'hawk? Type steel, weights, handle length, head length, etc.?

Thanks!

Sure Micro! The Vietnam Tomahawk sports the following specs:

Steel: 1060
Heat Treat: differential
Primary Cutting Edge Length: 2.75"
Head Length (edge to spike tip): approx 8.5"
Spike Length: approx 3"
Head Weight: approx 16oz.
Handle Length: 14" straight grain hickory
Special Features: 5 sharp cutting edges, step-lock "eye", custom stamping and serializing (on first 1000 Hawks)
Sheath: Eagle Industries Cordura

Enjoy!!! They'll be here REEEEEAL soon!

At this point, that is not in our plans...we are exploring some coating options, but our first production run will be consistent with the initial offering of the first 500 Vietnam Tomahawks ever made in the 60's...natural hickory handle, natural wheeler brated finish on the head, with a clear coat corrosion inhibitor.

No problem there, if I want to coat it myself I can hit it with a can of kylon.
Give a custom camo to blend in with the environment that I'm in at the time.

When will you have pictures of of the new Vietnam Hawk with it's sheath?

Take care
