Yep that is a screw on the pommel plate for take down. I thought about it but couldnt fit a gun in there

Hi Jsiah,
The core is 15n20 and the sides are "W" patterned damascus and tiled. It was a little tricky to get the core exactly centered so it wouldnt show more on one side than the other because of the hollow grind. The core and the damascus sides had to be precision ground to come out right.

Another masterpiece. That handle looks nice and meaty. plenty to fill the hand, then when you look closer you see the handle carving.
