As a spin off of this thread by another member here,I thought we are in need of another.

Let me give a brief overview of the situation.I had a For sale/trade post for a Glock 30 package.I got a p.m from Vikaden around June 5th inquiring of a possible trade.On the morning of June 8th we both agreed on a trade of a Busse Uncle Mofo CG and $75.00 for my Glock 30.He was supposed to ship all items with a copy of the FFL.
I don't hear from him,and see the post in the Cove by his wife/girlfriend using his account. I p.m him asking if everything is okay.Eventually he responds everything is okay and he will ship in a few day's and give me the tracking number.A few day's go by,don't hear anything,so I contact him again.He finally contacts me on June 17th and say's he works a 40 hour three day week,and will definatley ship Monday June 19th.I p.m. him back great! Please p.m. me confirmation that you shipped and how you shipped it.

Again, I don't here a peep out of him,as a matter of fact, had I not messaged him at all, I doubt I would have ever heard from him on what was going on. In anycase, I p.m.'ed several more times,I have not heard from him since June 17th,and have not received any shipping confirmation.Nothing in my mailbox so far. I had a feeling this was going to happen,but I figured I would give him the benefit of the doubt.Over two weeks have passed,and in the mean time I lost another potential sale,from a buyer who was the back-up guy if the deal fell through,because so much time had passed he just went a purchased another Glock.

Honestly, if Vikaden had just a change of heart about the trade and would have told me within a couple day's, I would not have been upset.Things happen,money problems,this,that,the other thing etc. I'm not a prick, I would have just moved on,no hard feelings.This really just pisses me off though,I don't think it's right to jerk people around for over two weeks and stop communicating.I don't know what his problem is,but it can't be that big a hardship to get to a computer in between his long shifts.

Lucky for me,I had to wait for the FFL to show up,otherwise if I had shipped my trade items,you can see what situation I would be in now.

I would have to recommend to anybody considering doing business with Vikaden to take into consideration his business practices here. :thumbdn:

Before I entered this agreement I looked up his record here.I noticed he didn't even care enough to have posted a response in you thread.I thought to give him a chance,maybe he just had a ruff start,but here we are repeating a sorta of similar situation in a way.I guess he doesn't feel the need follow-up and follow through.His actions just show a total lack of caring or respect for the person he is dealing with while we just endlessly wait. :barf:
 
Could I ask for a real name and city or state? That way I can make a note to avoid, thanks

Nevermind I see name and addr in the other thread.
 
Nothing more than a POS tire kicker (heavy on the POS side). . . .that will stand up and verbally commit, then make excuses and never follows through or just disappears after making the commitment ! :jerkit:

I've had this sort of thing happen time and again, more from gun buyers, but there are knife back-out artists too. There's no explaining why these people are such cowards that they do anything to avoid admitting a change of heart. I guess maturity isn't for everyone.

Consider posting your firearm on one of the firearm boards. The guys that shop those sites are looking for firearms and you will run into fewer whimsical buyers.

I did have it on the gun boards,but I have a longer established record here which would comfort a potential buyer,and I didn't have any luck when it was listed there.Plus now,I would rather trade it for a high end production or a custom knife.C'mon where are all you guy's with your rare exotic Busse's?
Somone else must have a nice Uncle mofo for trade!

Thanks man! Yes, I think under the circumstances and history he probably should be removed from membership.It is just a matter of time before some enters a deal with him,sends their stuff and ya never hear from him again.Vikaden is Definately unreliable,and does not fullfill his promises.
