Well this is my first viking style axe(Phillip helped a lot with the shape/blade)..Its forged from Wrought iron and a the cutting bit is W2..The cutting edge is 4 1/8" wide and the head is 6 1/4" long..The wrought iron was from a piece of anchor chain..Its left with a forged finish. Very sharp with a polished edge.
The haft is nice curly maple 18" long..Stained with aqua fortis, rubbed with boiled linseed oil and finsihed with wax..Im asking $112 shipped priority with conformation..I take paypal and postal money orders..My paypal address is wolfcreekforge@bellsouth.net

Nice looking belt axe. Your hawks are made to use and I like that.

I will take it , will send PP later on. Got the Small Double Bit Hatchet , and have to say its pretty sweet !!
