I'm posting this topic to gauge interest in tongs made by me that will be for sale for probably between $30-40 (does that sound fair or should I lower the price? or raise it...preferably
?) I could make other types of tongs too, but I would really like to make "Viking" mastermyr-like tongs, like the ones I already have:

The reigns are only a 3/8 of an inch, so they're very light and easy on the hands, but you can't use them for super heavy forging (they will work for moderate forging). That said, they are my new favorite tongs and I use them whenever I can. They are very good for forging thin blade-stock, and are pretty long, so they never get hot from the forge. I could make stockier ones for you though upon request. i can also make tongs for holding round stock and larger billets etc. Like I said earlier though, i'd really like to make more of the viking ones
. Let me know if anyone is interested, and, btw, if you want twists in them, they will actually be aligned
P.S. The tongs are mild steel, and they've held up very well, but if need be, for an extra fee, I can make them out of medium carbon RR spikes.
