This is my interpretation of a 10 Century Viking Sword. I used the book “Swords of the Viking Age” by Ian Peirce as a reference.

100 Layer Random Damascus
Steel – 1075 & 15N20
Handle – Twisted Cooper Wire over maple
Guard & Pommel – Bronze

Knife dimensions:
Overall length – 35 3/4 inches
Blade length – 30 inches
Blade width – 1 3/4 inches
Weight - 2 lbs. 13.5 oz.
Balance Point - 5 3/4 inches in front of the guard
Includes Scabbard

That's an Awesome Sword Ken, I bet any Viking would have been proud to wield. I checked out your pics on your website and the Sword holder is pretty cool also. It looks like a lot of work went into the whole setup including the awesome sheath as well as the main part that sweet Sword. Well sorry to clutter up the place I just had to mention what a nice piece you've made.
