Bill,
Does H.I. have anything comparable to these VK's?????

After a bit of grinding and sanding this VK is starting to shape up quite well. I've been using it while fixing it up..... Three steps forward and two steps back....

This knife is a real bargin!!!! The handle is of a useable size and quite comfey after a few mod's.

The British Army Service is probably the closest we have in size and weight. But you won't get to play with the BAS. All the work you are doing on the villager has already been done.

As I said, the villager is ugly but it will do the job. Glad you like it and are having fun with it. Knifemakers and guys who just like to play with knives always love these village models.
