While I was forcing a patina on my peanut I accidentally got some vinegar on the bolster and it turned it black. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a solution to getting rid of it?

Just polish the bolster. The 'black' stuff is just oxide (like tarnish), which is what polishing pastes are designed to remove. So long as it's not pitted, which would then need to be sanded down & polished, the polish by itself should fix that. Something like Simichrome or Flitz should take care of it easily.

Polish it or if the surface is a little rough, you can try hand polishing with your toothpaste or green buffing compound.
