From the collection of Ray Chapman, one of the five original Combat Masters, comes this early (NOT 2000's) Al Mar SERE folder, serial # 60/200. Mr. Chapman and Mr. Mar were good friends, and this knife was given to Ray by Al, probably in the early 80's.it is in excellent overall condition, having spent the bulk of its life either in a desk drawer or a filing cabinet. It has been used some; there are fine scratches on both sides of the blade, one of the serration sets has minor damage, and there are a few surface rust spots inside the green rubber scales on the lock spring. Has the gold Al Mar logos on both sides of the scales. Minor micro scratches on the bolsters consistent with being in a desk drawer. No box, nor papers. Overall, this is a great example of this famous design, with a bit of history thrown in for good measure.
