Vintage Al Mar: SERE Combat Folder (3003A?)

Up for sale is a Vintage Al Mar: SERE Combat folder. I do not know too much information on this knife, so please ask me questions. From the research I have done this is a later 1980s early 1990s model 3003A. If any of this is incorrect please send me an email, PM, post etc.

Details:
  • Special Forces Logo (De Oppresso Liber) on bolster.
  • 587 on the blade (opposite side): I assume that this is the serial number. Not sure how many were made.
  • Blade Length is about 4.5" and OAL = 10.125"
  • Scales are believed to be wood grain Micarta(?)
  • Condition: Carried and lightly used (for a >20yr old knife)
  • Blade: Tip appears to be intact, no major nick visible with naked eye. Logo and engraving clean.
  • Bolster: Light carry scratches, no nicks, or dents, or deep scratches visible with naked eye. Special Forces Logo very clean
  • Scales: Light carry marks, no nicks, dents or deep scratches visible with naked eye
  • Blade lockup: When in open position there is a bit of blade play (when you torque the blade back and forth. Movement in minimal (I have no idea how to describe properly). I did not detect this until I push on the blade tip back and forth.
  • SOLD (or make an offer. Like I mentioned I do not know too much about this knife). Price includes Paypal fees (Domestic Funds only) and shipping expenses (CONUS only).
