Hello,

Here's a find. I know there are some Bagwell collectors out there. You guys will probably be able to describe this better than I can so if I mess something up feel free to correct me. This is an older Bagwell dagger, probably made in the late 70's or early 80's. It is 10-5/8" overall, with a 6" blade. I'm not sure if the sheath was made by Bagwell but it has good patina and fits the knife well. My pictures do nothing to justify this amazing piece. Let me know if you have any questions. Consider trades for custom bowies or fighters, but prefer cash:D

Dropped to $750 shipped priority. Will ship worldwide but have to charge for shipping.

Kyle,
Don't wanna' waste your time as I'm not in buying mode at present, this is an awesome Bagwell dagger.
What is handle material?

Doug

Thanks for the comment Doug. I'm not sure what kind of wood the handle is. Could be rosewood or maybe cocobolo. I'm sure some of the aficianados around here know what Bagwell normally used.

I only know one guy on these forums who collects Bagwell knives, he goes by Brownie.. Sorry you've had so much trouble. You may consider consigning it with a knife web-dealer.
David

Well, I'm not really sure what steel was used for this knife. Both edges are sharpened. I bought it from the original owner and he said he never sharpened it. If anybody knows what steel Bagwell used I'd love to know. If you're interested shoot me an email and we can go through the details. Thank you very much for the interest.

Kyle,
Was gonna' let you know I thought it was 5160 but wasn't sure beyond a doubt, then I saw your thread on Bagwell's steels answered by no less than
Jerry Fisk,MS.
I concur and would bet the farm that's what it is.
Surprised that no one has taken this off your hands yet.Best of luck and someone will be very pleased on this acquisition.

Doug :)
