Vintage Buck 119 info?

I disagree with the dates put on the flap over sheath as well. The Flap over sheath was available from '63. The collar style sheath was available with barrel nut knives and only for a short period after Buck went to pinned tang knives. Buck began pinning the tangs of knives in '63.

If thats a question, yes they are elusive and hard to find. I'm glad you have found one. Although they are out there, they are in fewer numbers than other models in the period. This is spoken about in the thread "The hunt for the elusive 1973 119) by Joe Houser, who states that the numbers produced don't reflect the same as other 100 series models. There is no question about this... But every has an opinion, whether it can be substantiated or not is another thing.
