I recently inherited this blade (among others), but I am a gun guy so I figure someone else may get more enjoyment out of it -- with several of the rest to follow. Please forgive my ignorance about the materials. Here is what I know:

1) It was purchased sometime in the early 1980s
2) The handle is a beautiful wood that has a 3d-looking sheen when you rotate it in the light. I do not know the type.
3) There are small scratches on the guard from living in a file cabinet for 25+ years. I did my best to photo them clearly.
4) The blade is shiny and mint except for one surface spot that looks buffable, but I am not about to give it a scrub. I don't believe this knife has ever cut anything except maybe some arm hair.
5) There is no sheath

Please let me know if you have any questions, and I will do my best to answer them.

Again...a little surprised here that this was passed over. I was told the market for vintage was soft by someone who clearly knew.
