Here is a Case XX U.S.A. 7 Dot (1973) 6383 Whittler from my collection. The 83 pattern whittler is one of the most sought after of the 70's and back Case knives. It has a pinned shield and nickel silver bolsters and liners. This is back when Case really made a nice knife:thumbup:

This knife is 3 1/2" closed.

This particular example has some pepper spots (natural light makes them look worse than they are), but NO pitting and no blade loss. All of the blades walk and talk with no blade rub. The bone is not too well matched for color, but that was common on the 70's knives. This one would make a great addition to your collection or for an EDC and is still a great example of an older Case knife. The pictures show some of the things I look for when choosing a whittler such as blade fullness, how well the swedge between the backsprings fits etc.

This knife has some very faint bolster dings consistent with being packed around with other knives, but nothing too bad. Most or all of the pepper spots and dings would buff out, but that's up to you--I wouldn't do it!

$85 Paypal only, no e-checks, fees included and shipped in the U.S.A. International add $15 and accept responsibility once it leaves the U.S.A.
(a great price for one of the most sought after older CASE Patterns)

First one to say they want it by PM, Email, or Post gets it. "I'll take it" supercedes any pending offers, expressions of interest or questions.

I'm doing a one time reduction to $75 (same terms as above) on this one and if it don't move, y'all just helped pick out a new one to add to my carry rotation;)
