First up is another scarce beauty from my CASE collection. It is a 62042 CASE Pen knife. It has a pinned shield, nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. This is back when Case really made a nice knives.
This knife is 3" closed. A perfect size for a classy carry or for your collection.
This particular example is in excellent condition, but it does have some minor pepper spots--no pitting. (no signs of carry or sharpening). All of the blades walk and talk like you ain't ever seen on a newer knife. NO blade play either. The bone is gorgeous and well matched for color. The pile side of the bone has some of the jigging slightly sheared off, but it doesn't show too bad and appears to have came from the factory that way.
Nobody makes a pen knife that compares these days.
$40 Paypal only, no e-checks, fees included and shipped in the U.S.A. International add $15 and accept responsibility once it leaves the U.S.A.
Second is is a Case XX U.S.A. 9 Dot (1971) 6308 Whittler from my collection. The 6308 pattern whittler is another of the most sought after of the 70's and back Case knives. It has a pinned shield and nickel silver bolsters and iners. This is back when Case really made a nice knife
This knife is 3 1/4" closed.
This particular example is about perfect or as close to mint as you'll find, but the bone isn't matched too well (common on older Case knives). NO pitting and no blade loss or signs of sharpening. All of the blades walk and talk. This knife would make a great addition to your collection or a high class EDC.
$75 Paypal only, no e-checks, fees included and shipped in the U.S.A. International add $15 and accept responsibility once it leaves the U.S.A.
(a great price for one of the most sought after older CASE Patterns)
Please excuse the reflections on the shiny surfaces on these knives
First one to say they want it by PM, Email, or Post gets it. "I'll take it" supercedes any pending offers, expressions of interest or questions.
