New axe in blue burlap?

My first Fiddleback was a two tone Hunter when Andy was just getting started. To this day that is my biggest case of seller's remorse. I absolutely love the old school looks.

Thats a cool one. Its from the basement shop. Very old. Before I went away from corby bolts. That Bocote is looking AWESOME!

Very nice score Bill! Those old two-tone wooden handles were one of the things that caught my eye early on. I wish he would revisit that look now and then.

I agree. I really like that light maple contrasting with a darker wood.

Though it probably would be better for me if Andy didn't revisit this style. If I don't stop buying knives...

Good catch on the blue burlap axe. I was so focused on the Woodsman that I didn't even see it.

No Fair- Beautiful knife! It really looks pristine.

I have been watching Filthy Riches lately and seeing those guys collect 1K lb burls makes me wonder how many knives could be slabbed in one burl!! :)

Bill

Let a few older Fiddlebacks go lately but this Comp Cutter from 2011 will stick around for a while.

that thing has "pits" all over it

you can send it to me

It's ok Phillip I went at it with 400 grit sandpaper and got rid of most of the 'blemishes'.....
