I have an older production Gerber LST for sale. This knife is in excellent condition. The opening mechanism is sooooo smooth and the knife locks up like a bank vault. These older production Gerbers are better built from what I've read and also from personal experience. I got a current production off of Amazon recently and it was built nowhere near as solid as this knife. The orange scales are rare and tough to find these days. Grab a super solid knife and a piece of knife history! https://blademag.com/knife-collecting/how-the-gerber-lst-changed-pocketknives-forever
I'm asking $40 shipped to lower 48 Paypal only. First I'll take it. Thanks for looking.

My son opted for a Kabar Dozier mini in orange due to the pocket clip so this is back up for grabs.

Man, I had one of these as a teenager back in the '80's. Been looking for one ever since.

Damn!

I had a black one in the mid 90's. Had the clip also. I bought my mom one also. She worked at a pool shop at the time and was opening boxes quite often. She saw mine and loved the idea of the pocket clip. She still carries that thing, albeit not using the clip. Mom knew more about pumps and filters than anyone around. I used to laugh when men would argue with her (I worked here for a summer or two) and leave with that they thought they need, only to be back later, hat in hand, to get what she said in the first place.
