Made in Switzerland as early as 1986, no later than 1998. The original seller (I purchased this from) had is listed at 1986. That may have been citing the earliest it could have been made. The warrantee card in the box refers to Hamilton as a division of SMH which was formed in 1986, and ultimately became the Swatch Group 1998.
