Vintage John Greco

This one is around .2735, not really sure how much the coating plays in, but it is fatter than most of my coated 1/4"ers.

The coating plays a lot in the PBF's. The crinkle coat seems to be extra thick in those. When you remove it, it wll probably be around 0.255 or so, which is still a healthy thickness. The crinkle coating is the thickes of all the coatngs IMO. The older smooth coat is the thinnest and the desert is next thinnest.

I love it when a Busse die hard finds a deal. Better than someone who doesn't know what he's got.

But I think you could have worked him down. Next time take your lap top with tel-card and pull up greco knives and show the guy that it is not a greco, but a copy, and a cool copy. Then offer him half the price and see what he says.:D

That Bee Killer Jason:thumbup:

Great find...I go to every gun and knife show around here and have never even seen a Busse...except at Blade

Congrats.gif

This was also the first time I have seen one and it was a Greco! So now I will certainly be at EVERY show around here.

That thing looks like one heck of a dandelion puller.

Shame it doesn't have the black over yellow wrap.

I bet you could get at least twenty dollars for it on ebay.

We should let Jerry know that Greco has appropriated his talon hole design!!! :D :D

Damn.....

I bought the last killer Bee offered on the exchange and thought I got one hell of a deal myself....
